Special prism

In addition to prisms such as polo prisms and corner cubes, we manufacture multiple prism assemblies!

We would like to introduce our "Special Prism." The "Polo Type I Prism" can be used by placing two prisms with angles of 90°, 45°, and 45° orthogonally facing each other. In addition, we also offer the "Polo Type II Prism," which, like the Polo Type I, takes advantage of total reflection performance and is widely used in medical microscopes, as well as the "Corner Cube Prism (CCP)" used for surveying applications. 【Product Lineup】 ■ Polo Type I Prism ■ Polo Type II Prism ■ Corner Cube Prism (CCP) ■ Light Pipe *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

The cone mirror is suitable for applications that require 360° illumination. When light hits the apex of the cone, it reflects circumferentially around the cone mirror. An anamorphic prism pair is used for the one-directional enlargement of laser beams, such as converting the elliptical beam of a laser diode into a circular beam. Compound parabolic concentrators (CPC) are used to collect light from distant light sources. The incident light gathers towards the narrower part of the CPC by utilizing the phenomenon of total internal reflection. Rhomboid prisms are suitable for imaging applications where it is desired to shift the optical axis without inverting the image. Wedge prisms deflect laser beams using refraction rather than reflection. For more details, please check the official Edmund Optics website via the link below.
